In your web browser, go to Android SDK Platform Tools on the Android website. On a Windows 10/11 PC, follow the steps below to download the tools you’ll need to get started: Step 1: Download and install the Android SDK Platform Tools on your Windows 10/11 PC Note: You can also install a recovery image for your Surface Duo by using a computer that’s running macOS or Linux. You’ll need a computer that’s running Windows 10 or Windows 11. If your computer doesn’t have a USB-C port, you’ll need a USB-C to USB-A adapter to plug into your computer. Use the USB-C cable that came with your Surface Duo 2. Make sure it’s charged to at least 40% before you begin to install the recovery image. To do this, you’ll need to download a recovery image on your PC, and then install it on your Surface Duo. You might need to recover your Surface Duo 2 if it won’t start after a few tries.
