You do however need the original actor33.psarc, bin.psarc and text1.psarc or the modified versions from the first release of this fix. If you like the game, please support the developers and buy it! You don't need to rejoin your pak23.psarc, if it is split, 'cause the patch doesn't touch it. If you restored backups of your original.psarc files answer no to the first question.
If you previously applied the fix and have freezes in chapter 5 or somewhere else, please apply this new fix and answer yes to the first question, it will then use a different patch to modify your already patches.psarc files. Also unix users must have the program xdelta3 installed. Linux/Mac OS X/other unix users, please use uc3_fix_mand script instead and give the path to BCES01175 folder as the first argument or run it from the game direcitor. To apply the fix, extract it to your BCES01175 folder (or whatever your Uncharted 3 folder is named) and run uc3_fix_windows.bat script, which should open a console window to show progress. This fixes the crashes when entering the journal and hangups in level 9 and 11. This is a proper fix to allow playing of Uncharted 3 on CFW 3.55 (3.41 untested).
